DIY Outdoor Granite Barbecue Area

An out door barbecue area can be easy to create, affordable and beautiful.

Start with inexpensive cinder blocks and a bag of mortar.

Granite panels can be ordered pre-cut through www.usstonesales.com for easy installation. Place bottom panel first.

Place rear panel next, then sides and shelves. Thinset granite to cinderblocks.

Clamp granite pieces to header and allow 1/4" clearance for swinging, springloaded doors, hinged at top and bottom.

Clean look with granite doors (1cm thickness). Stereo cabinet type hinges and magnetic springloaded allow for touch release.

shelves and dividers make for great storage areas.

Enjoy...
