In Fujian Province, there are thounds of factories scattered in Xiamen, Quanzhou, Zhangzhou, Fuzhou Cities. Three months ago, One client from Melbourne AU. said that: In Shuitou(Quanzhou) , one day'production output equals to one year' production of Australia. You can imagine that. However, the delay of technology and the lack of education , the factories can only lower they price to survive. As we know, the scarcity of source limites the factories'development, Meanwhile leads to destroy of quarry base, big waste and pollution. Now government pays much attention on the stone source. Stone competition exists on big companies too. Like Xiamen Stone Enterprise Co.,Ltd is specilize in importing granite and marble blocks but now it has built 150,000sqm processing mill in Xiangan Area. Combing it's strength of blocks, the slabs and tiles and countertops' price will be much lower then his competitors. Best cheer has rent a warehouse in USA, Kangli focus on domestic projects. Wanli also share most of Japanese market. These stone giants's strategies represents Chinese stone Industry situation. In my opinion, at this stage of Chinese stone industry faces the upgrade problems. Small companies will be kicked out in the coming new round competition. Government will limit the production of the local stone blocks, improve the efficiency of final products, decrease the waste.
